Experienced Care Worker/ Care Assistant
Southwark

£11.50 - £13.00 an hour

Job Summary
​

Working in partnership with major care providers, Training Associates are looking for experienced Care Workers to join our hardworking team to support service users in their own homes in a person centred way.

As a care worker / assistant, flexibility is key, as you may be required to work a variety of different days and shifts throughout the week, including some weekends.

We have immediate full-time or part-time job opportunities for Care Workers in and around Southwark.
Full training will be given to the right candidates regardless of experience and qualifications so if you have a passion for care please feel free to apply.

The care provision is based in Southwark with good public transport links so therefore driving isn’t a requirement of this post, but would be beneficial.

Shifts Available:
  • Guaranteed 7 hour shifts to work from home to home
  • 7am -2pm
  • 3pm -10pm
  • All care workers must be available to work some weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include:
  • Assisting service users with all aspects of their personal care
  • Assisting service users with medication
  • Assist service users with meal preparation
  • Supporting service users within their home
  • Social visits with service users
  • Promoting service user’s independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience is necessary must have:
  • Skills for Care Certificate training
  • Ability to use own initiative and a caring and positive attitude is essential.
